Siggy the Dachshund Series Review

Siggy Loves Sausages

“Magic still exists in special places if you know how to find it”

One fine day, Sigmund (Siggy) the Dachshund was fascinated by a red and white sparkly lady’s bag. When he ran towards it, the bag was blown away by the gust of wind with a worried Mrs. Chana nearby. So Siggy decides to catch it to return it to its rightful owner. On the way, he has one hell of an adventure. One that comprised of excited children, sweet treats, a painter, a magical tree and many fascinating sights.

Magic is what I would describe this book. The beautiful illustrations, the plot, the characters all made me understand animals in a better way. They were all kind towards Siggy and even rewarded him with sausages after he fetched the bag.

The town is named after the word ‘Hope’ because maybe there will be a time when the world becomes kinder to animals.

Siggy the Soccer Dog

Phyllis is grown up and so is Siggy, the Dachshund. He has become more adventurous. Last time we had seen him running swiftly to catch a lady’s handbag. Looks like he has enhanced the skill to chase a soccer ball.

Siggy the star substitute has to win the coveted FA cup for his fellow doggies in Manchester United at full time. Will the Jersey number 7 clad Dachshund shoot the ball to glory and win the cup and not to forget gorge on his favourite sausages?
