Life has a way of shocking and surprising us in its own ways. Irrespective of what life brings us, we must wade through life with courage and determination. Love brings a considerable change in humans for good or bad. Yet, life seems to be barren without love.
‘Life in a Snippet’ – as the name suggests presents a slice of life in the form of nano tales. The snippets had a convincing beginning, an unanticipated middle and a befitting end. The tales on the theme of love were poignant, tugging every string of the heart.
Written in a simple yet charming language, they are sure to warm your heart and fall head over heels for them. The imagery paints a vivid picture of the scene. What I liked the most about this anthology of short tales is that the author employed different writing styles. The prose was sometimes infused with dialogues that acted as conversation starters.
Most of the micro-tales were about how love played its course in every phase of life. Some of them had depth and an open ending, having the potential to be a part of short stories. While rest of them were as stated – micro-tales and some pure quotes.
