Review and Rating

When you truly desire something, the whole universe conspires to give it back to you. Quotes are those signs from the universe that you cannot ignore. Sometimes it so happens that we may be overwhelmed due to their contradictory nature. We should chose which of them to follow purely by intuition and one’s circumstances.

Standing true to its title, the book is a collection of quotes and short stories that convey their meaning in a simple way. It also comprises of famous sayings by ordinary people who have been inducted into the hall of fame by not dodging the problems life threw their way but by effectively tackling them. The list includes visionaries like the Nobel Peace Prize recipient Mother Theresa, first black president, Abraham Lincoln and so on.

The quotes mentioned in the book are very relevant in recent times. It emphasises on three important things i.e. realistic goal setting, positive mental attitude and in harbouring relationships that will sustain throughout your life. Some of them will stay with me as they changed the way I perceived things taking place around me.The presentation is good as the quotes have been segmented on the basis of various themes. In that way, you can directly dive into the section that interests you more. The cover sporting soft shades, gives off positive vibes.

  1. I like inspirational quotes but I’m not sure they should be in a book full of them. I’m a believer that they should be random and kind of thrown out there for people to find. Understand why people would like a book full of them though. Great review
